Welcome to Still Waters Sangha Mindfulness and Meditation group, part of the Plum Village traditional and a Plum Village UK Sangha!
We meet to practice meditation and mindfulness and are also open to anyone in the community that would like to join. Our goal is to generate greater peace within ourselves and greater peace environment within our environment, and community.
We practice in the Plum Village tradition founded by Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh, who is a well-known author of many books on Mindfulness and Mediation, that can be found in many high street bookshops.
Although we practice as part of a Buddhist tradition, it is not a religion and all faiths, practices and cultural traditions are welcome, that align to our values of peaceful living, compassion and wholesome action, for the benefit of all beings.
Our practice is mainly centred around mindfulness of breathing and cultivation of being in the present moment.
We look forward to you joining our meditation sessions.
